7 OPERATION
NOTE: Read and understand all warning and caution notices contained in this manual before using the meter.
Set the function selector to the "OFF" position when the meter is not in use.
7.1 AC/DC Current Measurements
WARNING: Ensure that the test leads are disconnected from the meter before making current measurements
with the clamp.

Set the function switch to the AC/DC Current. If the approx. range of the measurement is not known, se-
lect the highest range then move to the lower ranges if necessary.

Press the REL button to zero the meter display.

Press the trigger to open the jaw. Fully enclose only one conductor. For optimum results, centre the con-
ductor in the jaw.

The clamp meter LCD will display the Reading.
7.2 AC/DC Voltage Measurements
