Servicing
Cleaning the grass collector
Attention!
¾ Note the separate operating instructions for the
grass collector.
Detach the grass collector and empty it.
Î
Clean the grass collector with a powerful water jet
Î
(e.g. with a garden hose).
Allow the grass collector to dry thoroughly before
Î
next use.
Maintaining the device
Note the maintenance instructions in the motor
Î
manual.
At the end of each mowing season have the de-
Î
vice inspected and maintained by a workshop.
Note
In the event of an oil change, drop any accu-
mulated waste oil off at a waste oil collection
point or a disposal company.
Note
Return used batteries to your dealer or a dis-
posal company. Uninstall the battery in the
device before the device is scrapped.
Using a jump lead
Risk of explosion / short circuit
¾ Never bypass a defective or frozen
battery with a jump lead.
¾ Also ensure that the devices and the
cable terminals do not come into contact
and the ignitions are deactivated.
Connect the red jump lead to the positive terminal
Î
(+) of the discharged battery and to the positive
terminal (+) of the donor battery.
First connect the black jump lead to the negative
Î
terminal (-) of the donor battery.
Attach the other terminal on the frame near to the
Î
motor block of the lawn tractor as far away from
the battery as possible.
Note
If the donor battery is installed in a vehicle,
the vehicle must not be started during the
jump starting process.
Start the lawn tractor.
Î
Engage the parking brake.
Î
Disconnect the jump lead in reverse order.
Î

Tyre pressure
Increased tyre pressure
ÂRisk of injury and damage to the device
¾ Never exceed the permitted tyre
pressure (see tyre walls).
Check tyre pressure and correct it when required.
Î
Front
0.9 bar
Rear
0.7 bar
Note
Excess tyre pressure reduces the service
life of the tyres. Check tyre pressure prior to
each journey.
After 5 operating hours
Perform the first motor oil change (see motor
Î
manual for intervals).
Use the quick oil drain (optional) to drain the
Î
oil V .
Note
When draining the oil, use an appropriate
collection container.
Every 25 operating hours
Lubricate all pivot points and bearing points of the
Î
driving and braking pedals, of the cutting height
adjustment lever and of the PTO lever with a few
drops of light oil.
Clean the battery pole.
Î
Lubricate all blade shafts, clamping rollers and
Î
clamping roller brackets at the lubricating nozzles
with 251H EP-type grease.
Note
Have this work performed by a workshop.
Lubricate the wheel bearings and front wheel
Î
axles at the lubricating nozzles using a multi-
purpose grease.
Lubricate the wheels of the cutting mechanism
Î
at the lubricating nozzles with a multi-purpose
grease.
Dirt and grass residue under the V-belt cover must
Î
be removed by a specialist workshop.
