3.3 - Crank-operated emergency manual device (KU)
The emergency manual device must only be used to open and close the door in the event of power outages.
WARNINGS:
- The emergency manual device must only be used when the motor is off.
- The emergency manual device must be operated in a safe place.
- The emergency manual device must never make the automation system exceed the end positions, as this would activate the emergency limit
switch. In this situation, the automation system cannot be activated electrically.
01. Disconnect the automation from the mains power supply
02. Place the crank in the opening provided, exerting moderate pres-
sure.
03. Turn the crank until it clicks into position for manual operation. This
cuts off control voltage and the door can no longer be operated
electrically.

05. Removing the crank restores control voltage, and the door can
then be operated electrically.
