10 Troubleshooting
10.1 Identifying and Repairing Faults
The following table provides information on malfunctions and their possible causes. If you cannot correct the malfunction
using the solutions named, contact your provider directly.
Malfunction
Difficulty in adjusting the seat height
The castors are difficult or impossible to
turn
Difficulty pushing the footrests to the
side
The seat frame with backrest cannot be
tilted
Higher force needed to trigger the gas
spring (Dual VIP)
The backrest cannot be tilted (Dual VIP)
Rattling noise during tilting of the seat
frame with backrest.

Dirt between the seat frame and the
side part
Dirt between the fork and the rim
Deposits in the guides
Deposits in tilting mechanism
Bowden cable not correctly adjusted

The activation handle is not pulled

Solution
Disassemble the base frame and clean
base frame and side part thoroughly
Thoroughly clean the castors
Thoroughly clean the footrests and the
guides
Remove brake cover and brake lever
cover and thoroughly clean the tilting
mechanism
The Bowden cable must be adjusted by
a qualified technician
Repeat the tilting of the backrest several
times
The Bowden cable must be adjusted by
a qualified technician

Pull the activation handle completely.
