SEARCH
Use SEARCH to go to a specific track on a disc.
1. Press SEARCH button once to enter into search.
2. Press and hold the SURR button (SURROUND) until SHF
flashes in the clock display. Numbers can now be entered by
numbered buttons on unit or remote.
3. Enter the track number using the numeric buttons.
EXAMPLE: Press the SEARCH button, then press and hold the SURR button until SHF appears,
then 01 takes you to track 1, pressing 12 takes you to track 12 and so forth. Pressing
just 1 digit, 7, requires you to press ENTER to take you to that track.
Programmable Title Memory
NOTE: A maximum total of 100 titles can be programmed into the unit.
The name of a Station, Disc or AUX channel can be stored in memory using up to 10 characters as
a title.
Title Memory
1. Select the mode you are going to be titling, (Tuner, Disc or AUX). If in tuner
mode, select the station to be titled.
NOTE: The disc to be titled must be in the unit and selected.
NOTE: DVD discs cannot be titled.
2. Press and hold the SEARCH/AS button for 1 second and the first digit of the
10-digit front panel will begin to blink.
3. Press the DISP button to cycle through the following character types:
Type 1: (space)ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Type 2: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Type 3: 0123456789
Type 4: /\\.+?!*'")
4. Turn the VOLUME knob to select the proper character.
5. Press the SETUP button {Volume Center} to move to the next space.
6. Press and hold the SETUP button {Volume Center} for 1 second to store the title into memory.
Title Erasing
1. Press and hold the MUTE button for 1 second.
2. Turn the VOLUME knob to select the title for erasing.
3. Press and hold the SETUP button {Volume Center} for 1 second to erase the title. DELETED will
flash on the display.
