CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and the battery cartridge is removed
before carrying out any work on the tool.
Selecting correct impact socket
Always use the correct size impact socket for bolts and
nuts. A n in c orre c t si z e impa c t so c ket w ill result in ina c -
c urate an d in c onsistent f astening tor q ue an d / or d amage
to t h e bolt or nut.
Installing or removing impact socket

CAUTION:
Make sure that the impact socket
and the mounting portion are not damaged before
installing the impact socket.
CAUTION:
After inserting the impact socket,
make sure that it is firmly secured. If it comes out,
do not use it.
NOTE: The way of impact socket installation varies
depending on the type of the square drive on the tool.

To remove the impact socket, simply pull it off.

it lightly if required.
To remove the impact socket, simply pull it off. If it is
h ar d to remo v e, d epress t h e d etent pin w h ile pulling t h e
impa c t so c ket.
Installing hook
CAUTION:
When installing the hook, always
secure it with the screw firmly. I f not, t h e h ook
may come off from the tool and result in the personal
injury.

The hook is convenient for temporarily hanging the tool.

t h e h ook, insert it into a groo v e in t h e tool h ousing on

loosen t h e s c re w an d t h en take it out.
OPERATION
CAUTION:
Always insert the battery cartridge
all the way until it locks in place. If you can see the
re d in d i c ator on t h e upper si d e o f t h e button, it is not
locked completely. Insert it fully until the red indicator
cannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fall out of
the tool, causing injury to you or someone around
you.

Hold the tool firmly and place the impact socket over
t h e bolt or nut. T urn t h e tool on an d f asten f or t h e proper
f astening time.
The proper fastening torque may differ depending upon
t h e kin d or si z e o f t h e bolt, t h e material o f t h e w orkpie c e
to be f astene d , et c . T h e relation bet w een f astening
torque and fastening time is shown in the figures.
