3.6 Use of the table frame
• Never allow children near the table frame without supervision. Children are not able to
assess the risks of the table frame. There is a risk of serious injury or death. Only use the
table frame in the intended surroundings.
• The table base may be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or if they have received instruction on safe use of the table base and understand
the consequential risks. Children may not play with the table base.
• Do not use the table frame on an uneven surface. There is a risk of tipping.
• Please note the table frame duty cycle of 10 %. Observe a break of at least 18 minutes after
each height adjustment (maximum 2 minutes).
• Do not burden the table frame over the permitted dynamic load of 80 kg of static load o 120
kg.
• Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
3.7 Particular hazard points
WARNING
• Please ensure that no persons are in the vicinity of the table frame during adjustment of the
table frame. There is a risk of injury.
• Please ensure that there are no potential collisions (e.g. roof slopes, structural factors,
roller containers, rubbish bins etc.) during installation of the table frame in all possible
adjustment positions.
• Also please ensure there are no potential collisions if there are objects such as computer
equipment on the table.
• Maintain a side safety distance of at least 30 mm to any other piece of furniture and to the
neighbouring structures such as window breasts.
3.8 Notes for an emergency
• Leave the vicinity of the table immediately if it starts moving unintentionally. Do not operate
the table frame. Have the table frame repaired by the specialist dealer. Only operate the
table again after the repair has been carried out.
• Cease operation of the table frame immediately if there are unusual events (noises, fumes,
smoke etc.) at the table frame. Have the table frame repaired by a specialist dealer. Only
operate the table again after the repair has been carried out.
• Cease operation of the table frame immediately if the safety equipment (e.g. the on/off
button) is not functioning properly.
Risk of crushing, injury and damage
There is a risk of injury from the movement of the lifting columns. If
people or objects are in the field of action during operation of the
table base then there is risk of crushing or a risk of damage to objects.
The legs on the lifting columns do not have anti-trap protection.
Do not reach into the field of action of the lifting columns during
operation.
Please ensure that there are no persons or objects anywhere in the
travel path of the lifting columns.
