Switching over the operating
mode
To switch from the "rotating laser beam"
standard operating mode to the other
operating modes:
n Press the mode button (3):
– 1x = scan 1 (line)
– 2x = scan 2 (oscillating beam)
– 3x = point
The operating mode LED (5) flashes.
To change the position of the beam for these
operating modes:
n Press the arrow button t (2) on the
power tool or the remote control to
adjust the position of the beam in
a clockwise direction.
n Press the arrow button s (2) on the
power tool or the remote control to
adjust the position of the beam in an
anti-clockwise direction.
To return to "rotating laser beam" standard
operating mode:
n Keep pressing the mode button (3) until
the laser beam rotates.

Horizontal application
n Place the power tool on a surface which
is as level as possible.
n Loosen the compensator clamp (10) by
rotating it in an anti-clockwise direction.
n Switch on the power tool.
The power tool levels itself within the
self-levelling range (±3.5°) and the beam
begins to rotate.
The LEDs (4, 6) light up permanently.
If the power tool was placed on an incline
(>3.5°), a warning signal is sounded and the
beam stops. In this case:
n Place the power tool in another
(more level) location.
or
n Compensate for a non-level surface by
placing a support under the power tool.
n On completion of work:
– Switch off the appliance
– Lock the compensator clamp (10)
by rotating it in a clockwise direction.
