Models and accessories
There are two models of XRP Reader, the Standard model and the Synch model. Some accessories are provided with the XRP Reader, others are
optional and may be ordered separately.
Standard model
 One COM port.
 One antenna port.
 One power port (12..24 V dc).
Synch model
One COM port.

One antenna port.

One power port (12..24 V dc).

Two synch ports allow two or more XRP Readers to be synchronised in order to operate within close proximity (<50 m).

Standard accessories
 2 m RS232–DB9 serial communication cable.
 3 m battery leads with alligator clips.
 Mains power supply 115/230 V~. Includes 0.6 m supply to reader cable and a mains cable with your country's mains supply plug.
 Mounting bracket (including mounting hardware).
 Test tag.
 User manual.
 CD with CONFiG XRP software.
Optional accessories
 Dual antenna adaptor (Tru-Test part number 816668) - used to connect two antennas to a single XRP Reader, 1 m long with standard antenna
sockets.
 Synch cable (order from Tru-Test) - used to connect multiple XRP Readers together. See
Synchronisation
on page 4.
