The operating time is greatly increased by switching off unnecessary
laser lines.
If the device is too far off the horizontal (more than 2°), the lasers
!
will blink. Align the device using the adjustable feet (6) or place
on a more level surface. The round vial (8) is provided as an aid
to alignment.
Positioning laser lines

The top section of the laser unit can be turned on the plinth to align the
lasers approximately. Precise positioning can then be done with the Vernier
adjustment (3). The adjustable feet (6) allow the device to be positioned on
sloping surfaces.
Slope mode

Do not release the pendulum lock or turn the
transport fastener (2) counter clockwise. Switch
on the lasers (buttons 12, 14). Sloping planes
and tilts can now be measured. The lasers flash
once in a while to show that the device is not
aligning automatically.
