IMPORTANT: The instruction manual you are holding includes essential information on the safety measures to be
implemented for installation and start-up. Therefore, the installer as well as the user must read the instructions before
beginning installation and start-up.
Keep this manual for future reference.
To achieve optimum performance of the LumiPlus Mini 3.13 projector, follow the instructions provided below:
1. VERIFY THE CONTENTS OF THE PACKING:
The following accessories are included inside the box:
• Unit projector
• Installation and maintenance manual
• Manual for electrical connection
• Guarantee booklet
• 1 bag of parts

2. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

This projector has been designed to be used totally submerged in water.
It is a Class III electric apparatus with very low safety voltage (12V with alternating current).
The projector compiles with IPX8 degree of protection (resistance to penetration of dust, solid bodies and humidity) at a
nominal immersion depth of 2 m.
This projector compiles with international safety standards for lights, especially the EN 60598-2-18 standard. LIGHTS
PART 2: SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS SECTION 18 LIGHTS FOR SWIMMING POOLS AND SIMILAR APPLICATIONS.
3. INSTALLATION:
• In order to clearly light a pool it is recommended to install a floodlamp every 5 m
which are especially deep, a floodlamp is required for every 10 m
• In order to prevent glare, the projector s should be installed so that they face away from the residence or usual view of
the swimming pool.
• In the event that lighting is used in training or competition pools, the projector s should be installed on the sides to
prevent glare on the swimmers.
• It is recommended that a length of cable be left in the niche or wall conduit that is approximately the same depth as the
projector fitting + 30 cm so that it can be pulled out up to the edge of the pool if it has to be handled (Fig. 1).
Check that the stuffing box assembly is firmly screwed before fitting.
4. ASSEMBLY:
Concrete pools (fitted using stuffing box assembly, PN6 or PN10):
The 11/2" nut included in the packaging will not be used in this assembly.
1. Embed the wall conduit or piping into the concrete wall at a distance of 400–700 mm below the water line (Fig. 1). In
the case of the 53956 niche, see the niche's installation manual.
2. The wall conduit or piping should be extended until its outlet is above the pool's maximum water level (Fig. 2).
3. Feed the projector's cable through the wall conduit or piping. Leave enough spare cable so that the projector can be
lifted to the highest part of the pool.
4. Installing the adaptor (Fig. 3):
PN6: use the adaptor with the 53 x 3 mm diameter seal.
PN10: use the adaptor with the 53 x 2 mm diameter seal.
Wall conduit: use the adaptor with the 50 x 3.5 mm diameter seal.
5. Then fit the snap-on adapter into place by pressing until it is firmly in place.
6. Put the Mini 3.13 projector into place and adjust using the spanner provided. Attach the faceplate (Fig.7).
Concrete pools (to be fitted with niche 53956):
Neither the 11/2" nut nor the O-ring seals will be used in this assembly.
1. Embed the 53956 niche into the wall (see the niche's manual).
2. Fit the ring (supplied with the niche) to the snap-on adaptor and firmly press it into place (Fig .4).
3. Put the Mini 3.13 projector into place and adjust using the nozzle remover provided. Attach the faceplate (Fig. 7).
Liner pools:
Neither the snap-on adapter nor the O-ring seals will be used in this assembly.
