3. Setup
AC Power
This product has an auto-ranging power supply and can work with an input voltage range of
100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. See the label affixed to the back plate of the product or refer to the
specifications chart. The listed current rating indicates its average current draw under normal
conditions.
Always connect the product to a switched circuit. Never connect the product to a rheostat
(variable resistor) or dimmer circuit, even if the rheostat or dimmer channel is used only
as a 0% to 100% switch.
Fuse Replacement
With a flat-head screwdriver, wedge the fuse holder
out of its housing. Remove the damaged fuse from
its holder and replace with exact same type of fuse.
Insert the fuse holder back in its place and
reconnect power.
Disconnect from power before replacing a fuse. Always replace with a fuse of the same
type and rating.
Mounting
Orientation
The Scorpion™ Burst GB may be mounted in any safe position, provided there is adequate room
for ventilation.
Rigging
Be sure that the structure onto which you are mounting this product can support its weight. See the
Technical Specifications section of this manual for weight information. Mount the product securely.
You can do this with a screw, a nut, and a bolt. You could also use a mounting clamp if rigging this
product onto a truss. Always use a safety cable. Consider ease of access to the unit for
maintenance and programming purposes before deciding on a location for this product.
When power linking multiple products, always consider the length of the power linking cable and
mount the products close enough together for cables to reach.
The bracket adjustment knobs allow for aiming the product to a desired angle. Do not use tools to
loosen or tighten the bracket knobs because tools can damage them.
