Configuration for VBus.net
In most systems, the KM2 Communication module can be connected to VBus.net
without any configuration. For further information, see chap. 7.15 on page 35.
In order to access the KM2 Communication module over the VBus.net server,
proceed as follows:
Î Note down the alphanumeric 8-10-digit code (Token) indicated on the back of
the housing.
Î Enter VBus.net into the address bar of the browser and click Sign up.
Î Wait for the confirmation e-mail to arrive.
Î Click Add new device.
Î Enter the alphanumeric 8-10-digit code (Token).
5.2.1 WLAN connection to VBus.net (internet access)
The WLAN connection to VBus.net can be established either with the WPS function
or over the Web interface. For this purpose, make sure that the WLAN country
setting is correct, see chap. 7.15 on page 35.
With the WPS function, the KM2 Communication module can be connected to the
router by pressing a single button.

Note
Using WPS for establishing the connection can lead to security vulner-
abilities.

Î In order to connect the KM2 Communication module to the router via WPS,
keep the button pressed for 5 s.
The WLAN LED will flash.
Î Press the WPS button of the router.
The connection will be established.
Note
Pay attention to the router documentation.
