To use Visicam software you have to tell the Software which is the Driver by selecting the microscope-shaped
icon.
GETTING STARTED WITH Visicam software, A VERY EASY MEASURING AND DOCUMENTATION
SOFTWARE
Run Visicam software by clicking on its icon on your desktop.
Select the right Driver for capturing the image. Note that after choosing the driver and before capturing the
image you can set the brightness, saturation, gamma ecc..
Then you can capture the image.
The image is now ready for being manipulated using Visicam software.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
LIGHT DOESN'T TURN ON
IMAGE CANNOT BE SEEN OR
IS DARK.
IMAGE IS UNCLEAR, BLURRED
OR HAS INSUFFICIENT
CONTRAST.
CAUSE
Power supply not connected Check that the 5Vdc power supply
Connected
The iris diaphragm aperture
is not completely opened
Brightness level is low
Objective is not aligned with
the optical axis
Objectives or filters are dirty
The iris diaphragm aperture
is not opened correctly
Condenser at wrong height

SOLUTION
jack is well inserted on the rear of the
microscope
Rotate the brightness adjustment
control and check if there is an
increase in the light output
Completely open the iris diaphragm
aperture
Rotate the brightness adjustment
potentiometer
Rotate the nosepiece until an objective
is well inserted in the optical path (it
"clicks")
Wipe them clean
Open the iris diaphragm aperture
completely
Hold the condenser and rotate it until
you see a uniform illumination
