Automatic cycles includeRegular/Cotton a nd Permanent p ress.Cycleselectionis basedin
parton the laundryfabrictype.Thesecyclesare controlled via moisturesensors. Cycletime
is determined bythe measured degreeof moisturein the laundryand on the degreeof
drynessselected(e.g. Dampdry, RegularDry,ExtraDry).
Time cycles run for a lengthof time specifiedbythe user. TheAir fluff/Noheattimed cycle
usesambientair (roomtemperature) w ithoutaddingheatand runsfor approximately 2 0
minutes,depending on the specificdryermodel.
Specialcycles are customdesigned for specifictypesoffabric such aswoolor jeans.
Wool or woolen products should only be dried using the dryer rack.

Steam cyclesare best suited for smoothing out wrinklesand reducingodors. Thesecyclesshouldbe usedwith loadsconsistingof threeto four
itemsmadeof wrinklefreecotton, cotton/polyester blend,cottonknit pullovers or synthetics. Steam programsareavailableonlyon selectmodels.
DuringSteamcyclesa small amountof water is sprayedintothe drumwhiletumblingthe laundryload with heat. This processis repeated, f ollowed
by additional t umblingand a brief cooldownperiod. The heatleveland time are presetfor thesecycles.
Note:Resultsmayvarywith fabric type. Garments that are 100% cottonand havewrinkle resistantfinish maygivebetter results.
If the nozzle stopsspraying duringone of the Steam cycles(symptoms wouldbe wateris notseensprayingintodrum,clothesare lesswrinkle free
than theycustomarily are with this function)checkto be surethe nozzle is notclogged. Lint mayaccumulate to blockthe nozzle tip or hardwater may
causebuildupon the nozzle (seepage29).

Delicates
Press the "Delicates" button for
temperature sensitive textiles. Observe
the care information or symbols on the
textiles. The temperature of the drying
process is reduced and the drying time
is extended by using this option.
ECO Action
Your dryer has an "energy savings"
ECO option. This option is used only
with cotton and permanent press
automatic cycles. Less heat is applied,
and drying time is extended. Press the
option button prior to starting an
automatic program.

The length of the ECO cycle is
affected by the load size, textile
type and climatic conditions.

Combining with the "Delicates"
button can produce even more
savings.
Signal
300 and 500 Series Dryers
Your dryer outputs an audible beeping
signal to alert the user of certain events.
Enable the signal by pressing the
"Delicates" and the "ECO Action"
option buttons simultaneously.
To disable the signal, press both option
buttons (again pressing both at the
same time). Each press of the two
option buttons together toggles the
Signal on or off.
It is not necessary to hold the buttons in
after pressing them.
The signal emitted will vary according
to the following table.
