DEFROST BY WEIGHT
1. Press the DEFROST BY WEIGHT button.
2. Use the number buttons to enter weight.
3. Press the START/STOP button.
NOTE: Weight must be in pounds and ounces. Ounce weights less than 10 must be preceded
by a 0. If label gives weight in pounds only, change the fraction of a pound to ounces using the
chart given previously. The maximum weight of food is 5 lb. 16 oz.
During cooking, the system will pause and emit beeps to remind user to turn food over. After
turning the food over, press the START/STOP button to resume cooking.
SETTING CHILD LOCK
The safety lock prevents unsupervised operation by children. To activate this feature, press and
hold the RESET button for 3 seconds. LOCK is indicated on the Menu Action Screen.
To cancel, press and hold RESET for 3 seconds. The LOCK indicator will disappear.
QUICK COOK SETTINGS
The QUICK COOK settings allow you to cook or reheat food automatically without entering pow-
er level or time. For smaller portions, simply touch the applicable button and then press the
START/STOP button. For larger portions, push the applicable button twice.
The FROZEN DINNER, POTATO, and BEVERAGE buttons allow you to cook multiple amounts of
the same food. Simply press the button pad once, and ENTER AMT appears in the menu display
screen. Enter the amount of servings and then press the START/STOP button.
POPCORN
POPCORN automatically sets the cooking time for a 3.5oz. /bag of microwave popcorn.
1. Press the POPCORN button once.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
To change the preset POPCORN time:
1. Press the POPCORN button twice. ENTER TIME appears in display.
2. Use the number buttons to enter the desired minutes and seconds.
3. Press the START/STOP button.
This new cooking time will remain whenever you use the POPCORN setting unless the power is
cut off.
POTATO
For a 4 - 6 oz. portion of potatoes:
1. Press the POTATO button once.
2. Enter the number of potatoes by pressing the number buttons (1-4).
3. Press the START/STOP button.
