3.2 Instructions for vacuum packing with bags.
1. Connect the vacuum sealer to the mains.
2. It is recommended to wait 15 seconds for the machine to warm up before
starting the first vacuum packing.
3. Introduce the food product you wish to vacuum seal in a suitably sized em-
bossed bag, leaving about 5 cm between the edge of the bag and the content.
4. Lift the lid (4) of the machine. Place the bag properly spread out over the
non-stick sealing bar (9), making sure it is centred within the vacuum chamber
margins (8).
5. Lower the upper lid and press the sides to secure it, the system is properly
closed when you hear a "click" on each side. With the pressure from the closing
system, the bag is locked within the vacuum chamber. If you wish to open the
upper lid once it has been closed, press the two opening buttons (5) simulta-
neously and gently pull the lid up.
6. To start the vacuum process, press the "Vacuum/Seal" button. With the pres-
sure from the "easy close system", the bag starts to compress when the vacuum
pump is activated. It is possible that the vacuum gaskets (7) become damaged
and the bag is not properly locked within the vacuum chamber. In this case,
we recommend you press the upper lid for the first 10 seconds of the vacuum
process and replace the vacuum gaskets as soon as possible.
7. This model of vacuum sealer is designed to operate automatically. By pres-
sing the "Vacuum/Seal" button, the sealer changes from the vacuum stage to
the sealing stage automatically. The machine is equipped with a vacuum mea-
surement sensor, which executes the sealing process once the vacuum level
reaches - 700 mbar. To cancel the vacuum process, press the "Cancel" button.
8. The sealing process can also be initiated manually, by pressing the "Seal"
button. By doing so, you can seal the bag when you choose, before reaching
maximum vacuum. This function is especially useful when vacuum packing fra-
gile products or ones you do not wish to squash, such as: pastries, cakes, fish,
etc...

9. Once the bag is sealed, the machine stops automatically. To remove the bag,
press the two opening buttons (5) simultaneously and gently pull the lid up.
3.3 Special functions
- Pulse Function: for greater precision when manually vacuum packing fragile
foods, by pressing the "Pulse" button, the machine will vacuum the air contained
in the bag while the button is held down. Once you have reached the desired
level of vacuum, press the "Seal" button to start the sealing process. When this
stage ends, the lid opens automatically.
- "Speed" Function: this function allows you to adjust the speed of the vacuum
process. It is recommended to use the "High" option by default, as this means
the air will be removed quicker. However, if you are vacuum packing fragile
foods or foods which contain bones, the "Slow" option is recommended so that
the vacuum process is more progressive, thereby preventing the food from spoi-
ling or the bag from tearing. Each time the "Speed" button is pressed, the mode
changes. The indicator light for each mode will light up when it is selected.
- "Extended Seal Time" Function: by activating this option, the sealing time is
lengthened by one second. This function improves the quality of the seal and is
especially useful for the following cases:
- Packing humid foods, for example: fresh meat, soft cheese, fish...
- Using bags of over 100 microns thickness
- Using the vacuum sealer in cold environments (temperatures under
10ºC), in this case it is recommended to activate this option for the
first 3 vacuum seals.
To activate this function, all you have to do is press the "Extended Seal Time"
button once; when it is activated a led light will turn on, above the ON mode.
To deactivate this function, press the same button again and the OFF mode
indicator light will turn on.
WARNING: do not use this function continuously for more than 10 consecutive
uses, as it may cause the sealing bar to overheat.
