The red LED then starts to flash, indicating that the collar is looking for the GPS. As soon as it captures
the GPS signal, the LEDs (green and red) flash more slowly and alternately. Your collar is ready to be
paired with the handheld.
To switch your collar off, press and hold the on/off button again : the collar vibrates once (for quite

a long time) and the two LEDs on the front light up at the same time, then go off. Your collar is off.
▪ Switching the handheld on/off
Tip: Do not switch your handheld on inside a building or home. Go outside and choose a clear area. Do
not stand under any trees or dense foliage or in a place where satellite signals could be blocked by
large obstacles (blocks of flats, ravines, etc.).
To switch your handheld on, simply press and hold the on/off button on the handheld until the
screen lights up and you see the NUM'AXES logo appear. The handheld vibrates 3 times in rapid
succession: it is now working.
To switch your handheld off, repeat the same operation and hold down the on/off button until the
handheld's screen turns off. It vibrates once (for quite a long time): your handheld is off.

Starting the geolocation system

✓ Step No. 1: Calibrate the electronic compass (if the handheld asks you)
Turn your handheld on: a message is displayed: the compass has to be calibrated.
