Downloading Still Pictures
1. Move the three-position mode switch on the side of the camera to the up
position for PC-cam mode.
2. Connect the camera to your computer's USB port using the USB cable.
3. Launch the QuickCam
downloading screen displays automatically.
4. In the QuickCam software, press the "Download from Camera" button
to display the Camera Memory dialog box. Thumbnails of all the camera's
images are displayed on screen.
5. Download your images.
• Click "Save All Images" to transfer every picture in the camera to the Gallery.
• Or, click the thumbnails of the images you wish to download, then click
"Save Selected Images" to complete the transfer. Double-clicking an image
displays an enlarged view of the photograph.
• In the process of saving, QuickCam displays a dialog box asking you to name your
image files before they are downloaded. Fill in the data fields to finish saving them.
Note The "Download from Camera" button is displayed in all QuickCam
Turning the Camera Off. On the side of the camera, move the three-position mode
switch to the middle position, which corresponds to Off. To conserve battery power while
in DSC mode, turn the camera off when not in use.
Auto Shutdown. When you are not using the camera for three minutes or more, it
shuts down automatically to conserve battery power. The camera is not fully off when
in this state. Remember to move the switch to the "Off" position to completely turn the
camera off.
Turning the Camera on from Auto Shutdown. To restart the camera from Auto
Shutdown, press the Restart button.
Low Battery Warning. The camera detects when the battery power is low and
displays a low battery icon in the LCD window on the back of the camera.

Also, clicking the "Delete All" button deletes the thumbnails in the Camera
Memory dialog box and all the images in the camera.
