Once set correctly using the crown, the black-and-white 24-hour
ring encircling the dial enables the wearer to read off the time in all
24 time zones, including the current Universal Time Coordinated
(UTC). Local time appears in the middle of the 24-hour display,
under the city name. Countries which change over to daylight
saving time appear on the city ring joined by a line to the next dot.
While these countries are on daylight saving time, you can read
off the local time from the indicated dot rather than from under
the city name.
Please note that the time changeover in the southern hemi-
sphere takes place 6 months after the time changeover in the
northern hemisphere.
When switching from standard to daylight saving time and back,
there is no need to adjust the 24-hour display. If you are in a
country with a time changeover, you only need to adjust the time
shown on the watch itself.
