The RM7 heater is a professional medical device designed exclusively for installation inside a vehicle. It is
particularly recommended for emergency vehicles such as ambulances, based on standard EN 60601-1. Use
of the RM7 heater is reserved solely to medical and healthcare personnel.
It operates using a 12 V DC power supply, which can be taken directly from the vehicle battery.
It can heat the products up and keep them hot at a fixed temperature, that can be set to a value between
22°C and 40°C with ± 1,5°C tolerance, but it must be used at room temperature that is not above the set
temperature, since the device is a heater and cannot cool.
Ensure that only products that can be heated to the given temperatures are kept in the devices: see
TECHNICAL DATA table.
According to Directives 2007/41/EEC and 93/42/EEC, class I devices are intended for the:
Preservation of properly packaged drugs, vaccines and reagents, not including body fluids or tissues,
intended for administration or introduction into the body.
Preservation of other non-inflammable and non-explosive substances or materials for general use in
hospitals, pharmacies or laboratories.
They are not intended for the storage of blood, bodily fluids or tissues.

OPERATING TEMPERATURE

The RM7 product is designed to be installed and used exclusively in emergency service ambulances
equipped with air conditioning systems, as specified by the standard EN 1789.
The set temperature is guaranteed in any case in environments with a minimum temperature of not
lower than 0°C.
The product can work, without guarantee of the set temperatures, in environments with a minimum
temperature not lower than -10°C.
Warning: The internal temperature of the device is influenced by the ambient temperature.
Ensure that the internal temperature does not exceed the set value in the event that the ambient
temperature exceeds this value.
