We recommend keeping the tank full if the system is not used. If the tank is empty the system must be covered with a canvass or safe opaque material

System operation
The solar circuit is supplied from the factory with the amount of heat transfer fluid necessary for the installation to operate.
Carry out the following operations in order during start-up.
Warnings
The heat transfer fluid and primary circuit elements can be at a high temperature. They should only be operated when the collector temperature does
not constitute a hazard.
They should only be operated with the system covered or with low solar radiation (very cloudy day).
1. Prior to starting up the installation for the first time, it must be thoroughly cleaned. If there is any debris it may alter system operation and be
corrosive. Pay special attention to system inlet elements.
2. For solar system commissioning it is recommended that the collectors are covered so that the heat transfer fluid does not evaporate in the collector.
The SOT-150 system is autonomous, that is, the pump is powered by the photovoltaic cell. In the event that the panel is exposed to radiation prior to
filling the accumulator the solar fluid may overheat.
3. Fill the tank (before uncovering the system to avoid thermal shocks inside) via the mains water supply inlet and purge from highest point of demand
in drinking water circuit (the secondary outlet valve can be used to bleed). Check installation and accumulator leak tightness.
4. Check DHW circuit valve and tap operation.
Open all water inlets. The system is full when water exits the inlets (safety vale in open position). Then close all inlets.
5. Check that the pump works. When the photovoltaic cell is uncovered the pump should start working (as long as there is a minimum amount of
radiation present).
6. After system installation and filling, it is started up and all installation elements are checked.
7. After system inspection and operation by the installer, the user is explained its characteristics and operation, and also maintenance procedures
16.
Adjusting thermostatic mixer
The temperature of the hot water coming from the accumulator can be adjusted by mixing hot and cold water using a drinking water thermostatic mixer
installed by the installer. The temperature can be adjusted between 30°C and 70°C.
The steps required to adjust the mixer depend on the device installed. The installer should advise and explain how to adjust it.
