ASSEMBLY OF THE PROXIMAL CONNECTION
Balance Knee OFM1 with a pyramid adapter
• Slide the washers (34 & 35) onto the 40 mm central screw (33), guide the screw through the central opening in
the head of the joint (26), and tighten the pyramid adapter (36) to a torque of 35 Nm.
• Secure the 40 mm central screw (33) with Loctite and use a torque wrench (8 mm Allen).
Balance Knee OFM1 with IKF-Adapter
• Slide the washers (34 & 35) onto the 27 mm central screw (31), guide the screw through the central opening in
the head of the joint (26) and tighten the IKF adapter (40) to a torque of 35 Nm. Make sure you assemble the
IKF adapter (40) in the correct AP direction.
• Secure the 27 mm central screw (31) with Loctite and use a torque wrench (8mm Allen key).
Selecting and inserting the buffer elements
The set is supplied with four buffers
• 3 back (P) progressive buffers (with holes)
• 1 front (A) buffer (without a hole).
