fuel leaking. It is recommended to empty the fuel tank before transporting the
machine.
Do not use the machine inside a house or in places which are not well ventilated.
WARNING: Start brushcutter on a flat surface. When turning the machine on,
make sure that your feet rest firmly on the ground. Ensure that the
disc or the nylon head do not touch the ground or any obstacle.
5. Precautions against fire: do not use the brushcutter near the fire,
or in a place where fuel has been spilt. Do not use it in a closed or
not well ventilated area. The exhaust gases are poisonous, inhaling
them can cause asphyxiation and death.
After refueling, clean any fuel spilt. During this
operation do not smoke, turn the engine on faraway
from the refueling area, as well as from fuel tanks
(minimum distance 3 m).
Do not refuel while the engine is on.
6. Keep people and animals away from the working
area (minimum distance 15 m).In case somebody
comes near you, turn the engine off and stop the disc
or nylon head from turning (turning the engine on and
off) since whilst the unit is on, the disc or the nylon
head could throw grass, fine sand or any other object.
The disc is sharp, reason why you should be careful when using the machine
even with the engine off. Wear thick and resistant gloves. Turn the engine off and
wait until the revolving pieces completely stop before using the machine or before
touching the disc or nylon head, specially when removing entangled materials.
WARNING: Do not use the brushcutter if the protective piece of the nylon head or
of the disc has not been placed firmly. (Read the sections "safe use and assembly
the disc and nylon thread head).
Pay attention of the safety recommendations, otherwise accidents can occur as a
consequence of:
a. Possible contact with cutting or revolving pieces.
b. Possibility that objects could fly towards you.
7. In case of accident it stops the machine, put in a safe place, and goes to the
next doctor if he is advisable.
WARNING: Do not turn the engine on if is not connected to the shaft, since the
clutch could break and fragments could jump up at you.
When working with machines equipped with a clutch, make sure that the cutting
unit is stopped when the engine is at idle speed..
