3. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
When mechanical installation is complete make the
electrical connections by following the instructions given
below.
3.1

ELECTRIC SYSTEM SET-UP

Before you install components you should prepare
the electrical connections of the control and safety
devices of the system. Follow the instructions given
in fi g.17, the instructions given in this manual and the
instructions given on components already installed.

3.2

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Switch OFF the mains power supply before you start
connecting up.
• Make the connections as shown in Fig.18. Check that the
cables are connected to the correct inputs. Check that the
minimum cable section is as specifi ed.
Fig.17 shows a typical installation with standard auxiliary
components to ensure correct functioning in accordance
with safety standards.
It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that
installation of all devices is suitable for the environment
in which the door is used.
• The equipment must be earthed.
• There must be a main switch on the electrical panel fi tted
with a fuse sized in accordance with the features of the
operator. The electrical panel and protection devices must
be manufactured and installed in accordance with current
legislation.
• The command and control accessory devices should be
placed within sight of the automation, away from moving
parts and at a minimum height of 1.5 m from the ground.
• The electrical connections with the accessories
(photocells, fl ashing light, etc.) must be applied as indicated,
also considering the specifi c instructions provided with each
accessory.

will void your guarantee. Do NOT use intercom or telephone
cable.
IMPORTANT: Complete all connections and checks
before you connect up to the 230 V AC mains power
supply.
3.3

CONNECTING UP TO THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY

POWER SUPPLY - 230 V AC MONOPHASE 50/60 Hz.
Connection using the cable supplied Fig.19-ref.1.
IMPORTANT! Always install, upstream of the line, a
mains switch which guarantees a multipole cut-off with
minimum contact opening of 3 mm (connect it to a 10
