working.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Make sure the POWER CORD is properly
connected to the Remington iLIGHT device
and that the POWER CORD is plugged into an
electrical outlet on the wall.
Check if a wall switch controls the power to
the wall outlet, or try plugging another device
into the outlet and seeing if it works.

The CONTACT
SENSORS aren't
in full contact with
the skin.
You are trying
to treat a small
area, such as
fingers or toes.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Unlock the Remington iLIGHT device with the
SKIN TONE SENSOR, based on steps illustrated
in Figure 5. Note that the device must be
unlocked again if you don't use it for 5 min-
utes. If you take a break in the middle of a
treatment, or turn off the device, you will need
to unlock the device again to use it. Test a
Patch of Skin using the SKIN TONE SENSOR.
Check that both SKIN CONTACT SENSORS
are touching your skin. The Remington iLIGHT
device won't work unless it's flat against your
skin. See steps 2b-2f in Figure 3 for this situ-
ation.
You can try pulling your skin to make a bigger
flat area, pushing part of your skin so that the
FLASH WINDOW can reach it (such as another
finger) next to the part you want to treat. If
you can't get the entire window to touch your
skin, the device will not work.
