Air Filter

• Check air filter to assure is in good repair. Remember,
a dirty air filter can make starting difficult, loosing
performance and shorten the engine's useful life.
• Remove the filter cover. Lift and release its two locks (A).
• Disassemble the filter pushing the cover stoppers (B).
• Clean both sides of the filter with 25 PSI compressed air.
• If the filter has damage, humidity or is very dirty should
be replaced.
• Set back the filter assuring the filter tabs (C) assemble
correctly with the cover stoppers.
• Replace the cover by assembling the rear tabs (D) on the
motor body.
• Lastly secure the filter cover with the locks (A).

Oil Change

•The oil drain cap can be found under the engine (E).
• Place a dedicated container under the generator to
collect the oil. Remove the drain cap and then the oil
dipstick (F) altogether with the fuel supply cap (G).
When oil container is drained, set the drain cap back.
• Clean any oil leaks or spills.
• Fill the tank with SAE-10W/30 oil.
• Check the oil level by placing the oil level dipstick
without tightening it. Oil level shall be between the
minimum and maximum marks in the dipstick. Double
check the level is not exceeding the maximum mark.
Tighten the oil supply dipstick and cap when the oil level
is the right one.
• Start the engine and leave it runnning briefly. Stop the
engine, wait one minute and check oil level again. Refill
if necessary.
• Never, ever dispose of use oil in the gutter. Take used
oil to a recycling unit.
