The speedselectorshiftleveris locatedon the rightside
of the handlepanel.Placethe speedselectorshiftlever
intoany of eightpositionsto controlthe directionof travel
and groundspeed.
Forward
Yoursnowthrowerhas six forward(F) speeds.Position
one (1) is the slowestand positionsix (6) is the fastest.
Reverse
Yoursnowthrowerhastwo reverse(R) speeds.One (1) is
the slowerandtwo (2) is the faster.

The chokecontrolisfoundon the rearof the
engineand is activatedby rotatingthe knob
counter-clockwise. A ctivatingthechoke control
closesthe chokeplateon thecarburetorand aids
in startingtheengine.
KEY
The key is a safetydevice.It mustbe fully inserted
in orderfor the engineto start. Removethe key
whenthe snow throweris notin use.
NOTE: Donot turnthe key in an attemptto start
the engine.Doingso may causeit to break.
