NOTE: A good quality 3 to 2 wire adapter may be
used to test ungrounded systems with little loss in
accuracy.
Lighting or motor circuits may be tested by using a
good quality plug to clip lead adapter having not
smaller than 14 gauge wire and not longer than
4 feet.
Large power disturbances or spikes may cause
erratic readings.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
If there appears to be a malfunction during the
operation of the meter, the following steps should be
performed in order to isolate the cause of the problem.
1. Check the battery. Replace the battery
immediately when the unit doesn't turn ON.
2. Make sure you use the power cord provided
with the unit
