Duty cicle
The duty cycle refers to the time as a percentage of a ten- minute period that you can
weld at a certain load without overloading.
Enclosure class
The IP code indicates the enclosure class, i.e., the degree of protection against
penetration by solid objects or water.The equipment marked IP 23 is designed for indoor
and outdoor use.
4 INSTALLATION
The installation should be done by a professional trained and qualified.
4.1 Receiving
At receiving a OrigoArc 250 edw
possible damages that could have happened during transport
removed, accessories, etc., before discarding the packaging. Any complaints related to
transport damage should be directed to the Transport Company. Carefully remove all
material that could obstruct the passage of air for cooling and thus reduce the efficiency
of cooling.
4.2

Working area

Several facts should be taken into consideration when determining the working place of
a welding machine, in order to have a safe and efficient operation. An adequate
ventilation is needed for the refrigeration of the equipment and for the operator´s safety.
The area should be clean.
A corridor around should also be the
provide ventilation and access for operation, preventive maintenance and eventual
corrective maintenance.
The installation of any filter dispositive in the environment restricts the air volume
availabe for the machine refrigeration which can cause overheating to the internal
equipment. All guarantee undertakings from the supplier cease to apply if the
customer/user installs any filter dispositive not authorized by the supplier.

4.2.1 Positioning the machine

Place the machine on a level surface at a distance of at least 1,5 m from buildings or
other structures.
