 ULK: Set to unlock the stable weight. 1-2-5-10-15-20-25 and 50.
The larger the number of parts set, the larger the weight has to be to release the stable weight.

*The settings for P3 Cal include the options "Deci" and "Dual".
The Deci setting 0.0 means that weighing is to one decimal point, i.e. to an accuracy of
100 g. The 0.00 setting means that weighing is to two decimal points, i.e. to an
accuracy of 10 g. Dual is then used to set the number of parts to be worked with, i.e.
the accuracy. Make sure the Dual setting is "off" and then press "ZERO". You will then
see RI inc, which is used to set the number of parts to be worked with. Under Deci, you
selected 0.0 (parts per 100 g) and now, under RI inc, you select 5: this means that you
are using 5 x 100 g, i.e. weighing to an accuracy of 500 g. Deci at 0 and RI inc at 5
give weighing to 5 kg accuracy; Deci at 0.00 and RI inc at 5 give 50 g accuracy.

8. Keypad lock

This mode can be set, for example, if the scale is not operated for 10 minutes (details in technical
manual). If a key is now pressed, "K-LCK" appears on the display.
To return to operating mode, hold the
shows "ULCK" (unlock) and returns to normal weighing.

9. Battery

The indicator can operate on a battery if desired. The battery life is approximately 70 hours.
A symbol appears on the display when the battery needs to be recharged. Operation can continue for
around an hour. The indicator will then switch off automatically to preserve the battery.
To charge the battery, plug the supplied adapter into a suitable socket. The indicator must not be
switched on.
To charge the battery fully, it needs to recharge for around 12 hours.
An LED below the display indicates the charging status. When the adapter is plugged into the socket,
the internal battery is charging.
If the LED light is green, the battery is fully charged. If the LED is red, the battery is nearly empty.
If the battery is worn out it will no longer be fully rechargeable. If necessary, contact your supplier.
