Maintenance manual for Workshop Hydraulic Press
Responsibility of press owners and / or users
This manual is an integral part of the article and must always accompany it, even in
the event of sale. The press owner and / or user must make himself familiar with this
instruction manual and the recommendations before using the press. If the operator does
not fully understand the language of this manual, the instructions must be explained to
him in his own native language and made sure that he can understand the meaning. The
manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage to persons or objects due to an
improper or non-permitted use of the press.

The press is shipped as one single package protected by padded plastic material.

Lifting and Handling
The press has to be moved and positioned with a forklift or workshop crane that support its
weight.
Storage
The press must be stored in a covered and sheltered place at a temperature between
-10°C and +40°C in upright position.
Safety
Only use the press for the intended use. Do not work on pieces next of the press when the
ram is moving or when it is under pressure. The safety valve is calibrated and sealed by the
manufacturer: Never try to adjust the safety valve.
Failure to observe these recommendations may cause severe damage to the press and/
or persons working with it. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for damage to
persons or things caused by improper use of the press or of its components.
Assembly / Erecting
Remove all plastic material from the press and check whether the press had been
subject to transport damages or whether parts are missing. The packaging material has
to be disposed of according to the regulations in force in the country where the press is
being assembled or erected.
Place the press on even ground. Inside of each foot there is two holes with which you
can fix the feet to the ground dowels.
Fit the feet to the body of the press with the using and bolts supplied (Fig. 1).
Remove the cap on the top of the ram, seal the thread of the pressure gauge (manom-
eter) with Teflon and screw the pressure gauge onto the ram, tighten it with a spanner
until it is fully locked (Fig. 2)
Spread a thin film of oil on the press workbench support pins.
