DESCALING AND CLE ANING THE APPLIANCE

The BONECO H680 has to be cleaned and descaled at
regular intervals. An upcoming need for cleaning is indi-
cated on the display with the following cleaning symbol:
The evaporator mat lasts indefinitely. However, you can
obtain a new evaporator mat as a spare part via your
BONECO specialist dealer or the BONECO online store:

Be sure to remove the Ionic Silver Stick
descaling process. This procedure is described un-
der "Step 1".

STEP 1: REMOVING THE IONIC SILVER STICK

1. Remove the front cover and the water tank on the rear
side.
2. Remove the filter holder together with the filter.
3. Pull the water tray out and remove the drum with the
evaporator mat.

4. Empty the water tray and remove the Ionic Silver

5. Put the appliance back together by following the steps
in reverse order.

STEP 2: DESCALING

1. Fill the tank halfway with hot tap water.
2. Mix 2 packets of CalcOff into the water tank and insert
the tank into the appliance.
3. Start cleaning mode by pressing the
the BONECO H680 keypad for 5 seconds. Change the
duration of cleaning as needed using the
buttons.
The appliance then descales itself automatically. After-
wards, the cleaning symbol on the display goes away;
then a flashing symbol indicates that the water in the ap-
pliance has to be replaced:
