Connection of the condensate drain pipe
to outdoor unit
Whilst the unit is running in heating mode, condensation forms
in the outdoor unit and this has to be drained away.
• Insert the elbow supplied in the hole provided at the bottom
of the outdoor unit and turn it 90º to fix it (see Figure 10.1).

• Mount the drainage hose ensuring that it leaves the
equipment with a downward slope.
• Verify the correct drainage of the water by pouring the water
into the collection tray located at the bottom of the outdoor
unit.
• Protect the condensate water hose with thermal insulation to
avoid freezing.

ensure that the power is isolated.

Ensure that the power line is equipped with a bipolar
or tetrapolar switch according to the model, (single
phase or three-phase) with a distance of at least 3 mm
between contacts (Standard EN-60335-2-40).

circuits to avoid electric shocks. This is a legal
requirement.

Some units may be supplied with an European style
plug, where this does not match the local electrical
sockets only use with a suitable adaptor or replace the
