2. Set-up
Firstly, a filter removes coarse particles
(e.g. fluff and hairs) from the incoming grey
water from the shower or bathtub.
The water then enters the first
biological treatment stage. Here, micro-
organisms break down the dirt
components in the water when
atmospheric oxygen is added.
The process from the first stage is
repeated in the second biological
treatment stage .

In the final stage, the water is sterilised
with the aid of a UV lamp and is stored in
the process water tank until it is reused.
The sediments produced during the
biological treatment are automatically
removed by suction and fed into the sewer.
If insufficient process water is available,
the automatic drinking water and
rainwater feed provides a reliable supply
at the consumption points.
