Inspecting the spark plug
1. Clean off carbon deposits on the spark plug electrode using a plug cleaner or
wire brush.
2. Check electrode gap. The gap should be 0.7 - 0.8mm. Adjust the gap, if
necessary, by carefully bending the side electrode.

Engine Oil Change
Initial oil change : After 20 hours of operation
Thereafter ; Every 50 hours of operation
1. When changing oil, stop the engine and loosen the drain plug. Drain the used oil
while the engine is warm. Warm oil drains quickly and completely.
2. Re-install the drain plug before refi lling oil.
3. Oil may need to be changed more often if operating in dusty or hot environments.

Cleaning Air Cleaner
A dirty air cleaner element will cause starting diffi culty, power loss, engine
malfunctions, and shorten engine life extremely. Always keep the air cleaner
element clean.
