5.1) Front panel
1)
ON/OFF switch: Allows the operator to turn the machine on and off.
2)
Negative outlet terminal: to connect the work clamp.
3)
Positive outlet terminal: To connect the electrode holder
4)
Potentiometer: Sets the welding current .
5)
Local remote switch: selects the comand through the panel potentiometer on the machine or
through the remote control.
6)
Socket: to connect the remote control.
7)
Digital instrument: maintain the voltage and current values after the welding is over (optional).
8)
Temperature pilot lamp: When on shows that the equipment is overheated. The welding is stopped
and the cooler continues to work. At reaching the normal working temperature the pilot lamp turns
off and the welding can be re-started.
N.B.: the schedule level of the potentiometer consists of a reference within the
current range.
