Maintenance
Hearing protectors
The hearing protectors, and especially the sealing rings,
can become worn from use and aging. Check the hearing
protectors regularly for cracks or leakage.
The protector cups, sealing ring and absorbent can be
easily cleaned with soap and water.
Worn and damaged parts can easily be replaced (see
Figure 9).
The sealing rings are filled with foam and are replaceable.
Make sure the extruding part of the sealing ring is pointed
downwards during assembly.
Use only hygiene kits from the manufacturer,
art. no. 505 66 53-26.
This product may be damaged considerably by certain
chemicals. Additional information is provided by the
manufacturer.
Mesh visor
The product is made from plastic material of high quality.
However, plastic material may age prematurely if exposed
to intense UV light, e.g. prolonged exposure to direct
sunlight.
If the product seems to be fragile or has been used for
over 3 years it should be discarded.
Maintenance, wear and disposal
The condition of the protective equipment should be
checked regularly. A damaged equipment should always
be replaced.
Follow local regulations for disposal and recycling.

Transport and storage

When the helmet is not in use, fold the hearing protectors
downward and inwards. (Figure 8)
Protect the equipment from external impact during
transport.
Keep the hearing protectors clean and dry and store them
at room temperature.
Do not store the equipment in places where it can be
exposed to extreme sunlight, such as behind a window.
