felling

cutting,
hold saw f irmly
with both hands
with thumb
firmly
locked
around
front handle,
and stand with feet well balanced
and your body balanced.
Stand
to the s ide of t he s aw w hen
cutting
never
directly
behind
it.
Always
keep the s piked
bumper
face toa tree, because
the c hain
may suddenly
be drawn
into atree.
When
completing
acut, be ready
tohold up the u nits as itbreaks
into c lear,
so itwill not follow
through
and cut your legs, feet or
body, or c ontact
an obstruction.
Be a lert against
kickback
(when
saw k icks up and back at
operator).
Never
cut with the n ose of t he b ar.
When
relocating
to anew w ork area, be sure to shut off t he
machine
and ensure
that all cutting
attachments
are s topped.

Transport
and storage
* Carry the uniVmachine
by hand with the engine
stepped
and the
muffler away from your body.
Allow the engine to cool, empty the fuel tank, and secure the unit/
machine before storing or transporting
in a vehicle.
Empty the fuel tank before storing the unit/machine,
it is
recommended
that the fuel be emptied
after each use. If fuel is
left in the tank, store so fuel will not leak.
Store unit/machine
out of the reach of children.
Clean and maintenance
the unit carefully
and store it in a dry
place.
Make sure engine switch is off when transporting
or storing.
When transporting
in a vehicle or storage, cover chain with chain
cover.
