• Before assembling the cooking valve as shown in
Image 4, before assembling the two parts,
a. Align the protrusion (in Image 3) of the white ring
that is marked with a red arrow with the rim in the
lower part, and place it by pressing gently. (Image 4)
b. First, turn the bottom part counterclockwise and
push the lower part slightly inward.
c. The protrusion marked with a blue arrow (in Image
3) and the slot will fit together. Then, turn the piece
counterclockwise again, and lock the two pieces
together. (Image 5B)
d. Finally, put the valve into the rim on the lid and
tighten the lower valve nut.
Caution! Be careful not to lose the small gasket
(O-ring) at the bottom.
4.3 Cleaning the silicone lid gasket
After every use of the pressure cooker, remove the silicone gasket from the lid, hand
wash it thoroughly with soap, sponge, and hot water, and dry it. Depending on the
frequency of use of your pressure cooker (if it is used every day) the lid gasket should
be replaced with a new original gasket in every 2 years.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 The pressure cooker cannot be closed.
• Place the gasket into the lid properly.
• Ensure that the clamps are open fully on both sides.
• If the food in the pressure cooker is boiling, the pressure inside will lift the lid up and
make the locking difficult when you are trying closing the lid.
• Try bringing the cooking valve to the "steam discharge" position and manually
locking the lid.
• The lid mechanism might be broken, take the pressure cooker where you bought it
or contact the manufacturer.
5.2 Too much steam is discharged through the cooking valve while cooking.
• The heat might be too high. Lower the heat as much as possible.
• The cooking valve might be dirty. After discharging the cooker pressure, remove it
and clean the cooking valve.
• Cooking valve might be broken. Replace it with a new one from the manufacturer.
5.3 There is uncontrollable steam discharge through the bottom and the
sides of the pressure cooker lid.
• Cooking valve might be dirty or clogged. Cool the cooker completely, and remove,
and clean the cooking valve according to the instructions.
• There might not be any liquid in the cooker, add at least a glass of water.
• Check whether the gasket is broken.
• Be sure that the O-ring that is under the valve gasket is placed properly.

5.4 Dirt removal

There are various reasons for stains. The food that is burned and stuck in the cooker
should be cleaned with detergent and non-metallic dishwashing wire by heating under
the water. Extreme heating of the stainless steel causes brown, blue, yellow or green
stains. When you use the pressure cooking in high temperatures, fading can appear.
Fading will disappear when you use the pressure cooker at normal temperatures. If they
are not lost, they can be removed by using lemon juice. Depending on the density of
the fading, cleaning process should be repeated with vinegar. Usage and washing water
usually causes round, brown and transparent stains. The pressure cooker is made of
18/10 Cr/Ni stainless steel, therefore, it is stainless. Calcium carbonate (limescale) or
salt causes round and white stains. Do not wash the cooker in a dishwasher or reduce
the amount of cleaning products and salt usage. For example, to prevent the water
and salt stains, add salt or water to the food when it is boiling. You might be living
in an area that has hard water. Therefore the fading can also be removed with acidic
acid (concentrated vinegar) or lemon juice. Depending on the density of the fading, the
cleaning process should be repeated with vinegar or citric acid.
5.5 The lid of the pressure cooker cannot be opened.
• If there still is pressure in the cooker, the safety lock is on. Try again after a while.
• Cooling down slowly might produce the vacuum in the cooker. Try opening the lid by
turning the cooking valve fully to the steam discharge position. Never force the lid to
open.
• Cooking valve might be clogged. Wait until the pressure cooker is fully cooled down.

COOKING TIME

the timing of your cooking. The cooking timetable is designed only to give an idea
about the products and materials listed. To determine the right cooking time, you can
use the ingredients similar to the ones shown in the table, and reduce the cooking time
required with normal cooking methods. You will learn soon the required amount of time
to cook with pressure cooker. We are sure that you will have fun while cooking.
