CONNECTIONS

Before making or changing any connections,
switch off the power and disconnect both this
unit and the amplifier/receiver from the AC
outlet.

Connect the set's LINE IN terminal to the
amplifier or receiver's SUBWOOFER PREOUT
terminal using the included RCA plug cord.
Amplifier

OPERATION

For details regarding operating part functions,
refer to PANEL FACILITIES.
1. Press Í STANDBY/ON.
• Turn the power to the amplifier or receiver
ON before turning the power to the unit
ON. When turning the power OFF, turn the
power to the unit OFF before turning the
power to the amplifier or receiver OFF.
2. Adjust the volume of the amplifier.
3. Adjust the volume of the unit with the
VOLUME dial.
• When necessary, operate the
CROSSOVER knob and PHASE switch,
and then adjust with the VOLUME knob.
4. When you are finished using the unit,
press Í STANDBY/ON to switch it OFF.
• The power indicator lights red.
This unit is not provided with magnetic
shielding. Powerful magnets are used in the
speakers of this system. Keep metal objects,
such as screw drivers, away from the speakers.
These objects can be attracted to the speakers
and cause injury or damage the diaphragms.
Also keep objects that use magnetism, such as
bank cards, floppy discs, etc., away from the
speakers. The magnetism from the speakers
may render the object inoperable or cause data
to be lost.
