4 - DRYING
Cleaning of the refrigerated cabinets is divided as follows:

18_1.General instructions

The surfaces to be cleaned and the detergents and water used for
cleaning must not exceed a maximum temperature of 30°C.
use only neutral type detergents ()
DO NOT use acid or alkaline detergents (e.g. bleach) which could corrode the
surfaces
DO NOT use abrasive products, chemical/organic solvents or sharp
instruments which could damage the unit's surfaces.
DO NOT use detergents with unknown chemical compositions
DO NOT spray water or detergent directly onto the unit's electrical parts and
avoid wetting fans, light fixtures, electrical cables, and all electrical equipment
in general during cleaning operations.
DO NOT touch the cabinet with wet or damp hands and feet.
DO NOT use alcohol or similar products to clean the parts in methacrylate
(Plexiglas).
DO NOT aim the jet directly on the varnished or plasticised surfaces
DO NOT apply the products directly onto the surfaces to be cleaned
DO NOT use steam cleaning equipment
DO NOT exert too much strength during the cleaning operations
avoid contact with or the steams released from acidic products, alkalines, or
ammonia contained in the pavement detergents that can rust or corrode the
stainless steel.
if you perform internal cleaning with pressurized water jet cleaners (Rif. 8),
use LOW PRESSURE systems (max. 30 bar) with a capacity suitable to
remove any present residue; too high pressures may damage the surfaces.
keep at a minimum distance of 30 cm from the surfaces to be cleaned (Rif. 8).
DO NOT bring the jet too close to the dirt, it can cause injury to the operator
and contaminate parts that have already been cleaned, as well as the
environment (Rif. 12).

18_2.Cleaning of the outer parts (Daily / Weekly)

On a weekly basis, clean all the external parts of the unit using neutral detergents
for domestic use that are compatible with the surfaces to be cleaned, or using
warm soapy water (max 30°C), and removing all traces of detergent.
Rinse with clean water and dry using a soft cloth.

18_3.Cleaning the internal parts (Monthly)

The purpose of cleaning the internal parts of the cabinet is to destroy the pathogenic
micro-organisms so as to ensure protection of the goods.
Before proceeding with the internal cleaning of a cabinet, you must:
Turn off the power supply
Completely remove all merchandise inside.
Remove all the removable parts, such as display dishes, grid trays, etc.
Wash with lukewarm water (max 30°C).
Disinfect using a detergent with an antibacterial component.
Carefully clean the bottom tank, the drip, and the grid that protects the water drain,
eliminating all foreign bodies that have fallen through the suction grid lifting, if
necessary, the sheet of the fans.
Carefully dry using a soft cloth.
If any ice has formed, contact a qualified refrigeration technician for assistance.

18_4.Cleaning the condenser (Rif. 14)

The condenser must be cleaned every 30 days to eliminate the dust accumulated.
Proceed to clean with stiff bristle brushes (not metal) or vacuum cleaner, taking
care not to bend or damage the condenser fins.
