5.7 Holding plate for SBR reactor with 4-tank systems
In 4-tank systems a holding plate is installed in the first SBR reactors which only has pipe clamps for se-
curing the sludge return and the aeration. In the last SBR reactor (with clear water lifter) a holding plate is
installed which has pipe clamps for securing the sludge lifter, the clear water lifter and the aeration.
5.8 Connecting the holding plate and lifters in the SBR basin
The lifters are then clamped to the holding plate. In
doing so, the excess sludge lifter (J) is mounted on
the left (short) side and the clear water extraction
lifter (I) is mounted on the right (long) side of the
holding plate.
