Cleaning the Transducer
The transducer requires no routine maintenance or servicing.
To sterilise or clean the transducer it may be removed by means of
the following procedure:

Remove the transducer by gently rotating the transducer
anti-clockwise and then pulling from the main body.

The transducer may now be immersed in warm soapy water
for routine cleaning or immersed in cold sterilising solutions
e.g. Perasafe for a period not exceeding 10 minutes. (Alcohol
and chloride solutions should be avoided.) After cleaning/
sterilising, the transducer should be rinsed in distilled water
and dried. Perasafe is available from Vyaire in convenient
81g plastic bottles, Cat No.36-SSC5000A.

Re-assemble the transducer into the Micro I.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to wash or immerse the spirometer
or accessories in water or cleaning fluid, as there are electronic
components inside that will be permanently damaged.

Product Lifetime
The Micro I meter is designed for a product lifetime of 5 years.
