This quick installation guide describes the CamServer
and was created in June 2011. See the installation CD or our website
(www.heitel.com) for the current firmware version.
Information on commissioning the device follows on page 22.
Detailed information, going beyond the scope of this quick installation guide,
can be found in the full device manual or the full software manual, both of
which can be found on the installation CD in PDF format.
The
CamServer 2c
can be be equipped with a maximum of either one
analogue and one IP camera or with two IP cameras.
Function
Switch On/Off
Power on indicator
A permanently-illuminated LED indicates video signal failure of the respective video
input.
An LED chaser light from left to right and from right to left indicates storage medium
initialisation.
An illuminated Record LED indicates storage medium write-access, e.g. caused by
image recording or system-related access, such as transmission of date and time data.
A permanently-illuminated LED indicates an online connection.
Slot for Compact Flash storage media (commercially available Compact Flash Card
Type I; 2 up to 32 GB) including eject button
Slot for SIM cards (format ID-000, 25 × 15 mm and accordingly Mini SIM)
USB port type B: USB direct connection to the CamControl receiver station
