• Temporal Power loss or temporary failure
After a short power loss, the equipment will restart automatically. However in the event of a lack of electricity the boiler may give off a small
amount of smoke inside the room for a period of approximately 3-5 minutes. THIS DOES NOT ENTAIL ANY HEALTH RISK. This is a reason
why Bronpi advises, whenever possible, to connect the primary air inlet pipe to the exterior of the house in order to assure that the boiler does
not give off smokes after a short power loss.

Electrical protection

The boiler is protected against abrupt electricity oscillations through a general fuse placed in the switch placed in the rear
part. (4A250V Retarded).
•
The electronic pressure switch blocks the operation of the boiler in the event of an abrupt change
of the pressure inside the combustion chamber (door opening, breakdown of the smoke extraction
motor, etc). If this happens, the machine will go into an alarm state.

the operation of the machine. The restart needs to be done manually by an

authorised technician.
The replacement of the 80ºC thermal protection sensor on the pellet hopper is not included in the
warranty unless the authorised technician can demonstrate a faulty component.
• Water overheating protection (90ºC)
If the water temperature inside the boiler circuit reaches between near about 90ºC, the fuel loading is cut by
the water overheat safety sensor. If the temperature gauge is activated, restart needs to be done manually
by an authorised technician.
The replacement of the 90ºC water overheat safety sensor is not included in the warranty unless
theauthorised technician can demonstrate a faulty component to the satisfaction of Bronpi's
technical centre.

Your boiler has a flow sensor placed inside the inlet of the primary air supply pipe that detects the proper
circulation of fresh air to the combustion chamber and the smoke exhaust. In the event that insufficient air is
supplied (due to incorrect smoke outlet or improper air intake), the sensor sends a "cut out" signal.
The OASYS PLUS TECHNOLOGY (Optimum Air System) ensures a constant combustion by controlling
automatically the chimney draw or draught calculated from the flue characteristics (curves, length, diameter, etc)
and the environmental conditions (wind, humidity, atmospheric pressure, etc).

Flow Sensor
If the pressure of the heating system is lower than 0.4 bars, the boiler will
cease feeding fuel and ultimately close down and stop. If the pressure inside the heating system exceeds
2.5 bars, the display will show the alarms "Er09 and Er10". To reset the safety device press button
the display for, at least, 3 seconds.
Warning: the presence of air in the heating circuit can provoke activation of the system water pressure transducer. If the
sensor trigger and ceases to feed fuel to the machine, the alarms related to the lack of fuel may activate.
In order to get a proper performance of the product, the ideal pressure of the installation should be set at, approximately, 1.0-1.4
bars when the installation is cold. Furthermore, it is necessary to ensure the absence of air in the heating system. Bronpi Calefacción
advises to have an adequate air purged circuit within the installation. The operation of air purging inside the installation is not
included in the warranty.
• Fuel capacity sensor
Your boiler has a capacitative sensor to detect the combustible level in the hopper. In case the combustible is below a determinate level,
during a determinate time, the display will show the message "Er18" (Low combustible) and the message NORMAL, running the boiler in
a normal way, after this time, the boiler will show alarm "Er18" and will start automatically in "final cleaning". To deactivate this alarm, it is
necessary press the button
To initiate a new start, it is necessary refill the combustible hopper before we switch on again the boiler
not show any alarm, but it will not allow you to switch on.
In the case of Hydrotex and Hydroconfort boiler models, if you have purchased the optional joined tank for a greater fuel capacity,
when the capacity sensor detects a possible fuel shortage, it will activate the tank motor, to automatically refill fuel into the hopper of
the boiler for a set time.
• Installation Safety Devices
It is COMPULSORY to have a system pressure gauge to visualize the water pressure of the heating circuit.
The closed expansion vessel of the installation should have a dimension between 4 and 6% of the total volume of the
installation. The integral boiler mounted closed expansion vessel is likely to be inadequate for the central heating
circuit..
