INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Use the
Wet N' Dry
straightener on washed, towel-dried and untangled hair.
• Plug the appliance and press the "I" button. The red light indicator comes on. It is
possible that you notice a light smoke and particular smell. This is normal and will
disappear after a few uses.
• Select the desired temperature using the temperature controller. We recommend you
to select a lower temperature for finer or treated hair, and a high temperature for frizzy,
thick or difficult to style hair. See table below:
Temperature
Hair type
120-150°
Fine or fragile hair
150-180°
Normal or lightly curly hair
180-200°
Thick or frizzy hair
• Let the straightener heat up for about one minute. Beware: the appliance gets hot.
Take care to avoid the hot surfaces of the appliance coming into direct contact with
the skin, in particular the ears, face and neck.
• Thoroughly brush hair and section. Start with the underneath sections of hair. Take a
section of about 2-3 cm width and place it between the 2 hot plates with the
appliance positioned close to the roots, being careful to avoid touching the hot
surface of the appliance with your hand. Make sure that the vents on the side of the
straightener are directed away from the face, scalp and hands to prevent any risk of
scalding from steam.
• Hold the hair firmly with the straightener and slide slowly along from the roots to the
tips. N.B.: You may hear a hissing sound and see steam, this is nothing to worry
about, it is just the excess water in your hair evaporating as it dries.
• Repeat as necessary for a perfect result.

Wet N' Dry
straightener's exclu-
• If your roots remain slightly damp, or if you want extra volume, tilt your head forward
and gently blow-dry.
• The
Wet N' Dry
straightener can be used on dry hair as well. To do this, follow the
instructions as above, but dry your hair first with a hair dryer.
The appliance can also be used for shaping the hair and to lift up the roots. It is as easy
to use as a hair brush.
• To lift up the roots, hold the lock taut, perpendicularly to the scalp. Now position the
appliance as close as possible to the scalp to give maximum volume to the root. Then
slowly glide from root to the end of hair to style.
• To create perfectly shaped bobs use as above but turn the appliance under at the end
of your hair (as you would a hairbrush) and hold in place for a couple of seconds and
then release.
(FIG. 2)
• For flick-ups follow the same procedure but angle the appliance out at the end of your
hair instead of under.
(FIG. 3)
Turbo Boost
Press the Turbo button (green indicator light) to give an instant temperature boost
of around 20ºC. This will help smooth out any difficult kinks. Press the Turbo
button again to switch off.
Note : To reach 200ºC, turn the temperature dial to the highest setting and switch
on the Turbo Boost.
Auto Off
If the Straightener has been left on for over 1h15, the Straightener will
automatically turn itself off.
