14. This charger is suitable for different rated voltages. The switch-over to the
corresponding rated voltage, which belongs to the specific rated appliance, is done
automatically in the appliance.
15. The output power from the supply must not exceed the rating given on the charger.
16. The circuit wiring of the power supply is made in such a way that components like
capacitors are positioned in front of the power supply fuse. Therefore, the unit must
be protected by a fuse in the installation system.
17. This power supply is a table model and is used for battery charging. It is certified
according to the relevant safety standards UL 1012, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 223-
M91, VDE 0700 Part 1 and VDE 0700 Part 29.
18. The disconnection from the line voltage is made by pulling the main plug.
19. To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting
any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off the controls will not reduce the risk.
CORD CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
The charger should be grounded to reduce the risk of electrical shock. The charger is
equipped with an electrical cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a
grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Never alter the AC cord or plug provided. If it will not fit the outlet, have
a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. An improper
connection can result in the risk of an electrical shock.
