DALIeco Control
Push-buttons (P1)
SP: Switching DALI CH-1 on and off (toggle function)
LP: A Dimming DALI CH-1 up and down (toggle function)
DP: Storage of the current DALI CH-1 light value as an input value for DALI CH-1
Push-button functions (P2)
SP: Switching DALI CH-2 on and off (toggle function)
LP: Dimming DALI CH-2 up and down (toggle function)
DP: Storage of the current DALI CH-2 light value as an input value for DALI CH-2
Deactivation of the two-button control system
(= return to one-button control system)
Simultaneous VLP for 20s on both push-buttons (lighting indicators flash to verify)

2.3.3 Fully automatic presence and daylight-dependent control

If the control unit is set to factory defaults and if at least one sensor is connected to the sensor
interface the control unit operates as a presence and daylight-dependent control. The default
factory control setpoint may be reset by means of the push-button.
Push-button functions
SP: Switching DALI CH-1 and CH-2 on and off respectively (toggle function)
LP: Dimming DALI CH-1 and CH-2 up and down respectively (toggle function)
DP: Storage of the current brightness value as the control setpoint
i
Important notes:
Sensors may only be switched on and off while the control unit is in a voltage-free
condition, otherwise correct operation is not guaranteed.
A control setpoint should only be stored where there is a low level of daylight/external light.
During the storage of a control setpoint the LED of the sensor fl ashes alternately red/
green until the process is completed.

2.5 Sensor connection
5b
The sensor is provided for luminaire integration. Installation and settings on sensor
separate instructions.
Connection of max. 4 sensors (3) via Y-connector (4) and sensor cable (2) to sensor connection
on control unit (1).
24
Requirements for sensor and luminaire position:
Entire workplace (to be monitored) is within monitoring area of the sensor.
Avoid direct radiation of the sensor by light sources (incorrect measurements).
The sensor must not be installed in areas where there is a draft (air conditioning/ventilation)
or heat sources (photocopier/hot air blower) (incorrect sensing of persons moving).
2.6 External push-button
Push-button for manual control/setting. Connection conditions
2.7 Connection of additional sensors and push-buttons via
the DALI line
Additional sensors and push-buttons can be connected directly and/or using coupling units to
the two DALI lines. The function does not depend on whether the connection is via DALI channel
1 or 2. Up to three pushbutton couplers or sensors can be connected to each DALI channel, in
9
addition to the 16 DALI ECGs.

2.7.1 Integration of push-buttons via push-button coupler

Push-buttons can be connected via push-button couplers without additional commissioning to
the DALI line. Each connected push-button coupler has four inputs (A-D).
Basic setting of the push-button coupler
In the basic setting (=factory setting) all inputs/push-buttons have the same function.
The function corresponds to the push-button that is directly connected to the push-button input
of the control unit
Alternative function / push-button allocation of the push-button coupler
Push-button function on coupler input A:
SP: Switch on and off DALI CH-1 (toggle function)
LP: Dimming up and down DALI CH-1 (toggle function)
Push-button function on coupler iinput B:
SP: Switch on and off DALI CH-2 (toggle function)

LP: Dimming up and down DALI CH-2 (toggle function)
Push-button function on coupler input C:
SP and LP: Switching on or changing from condition Standby to condition "ON"
Push-button function on coupler input D:
SP and LP: Switching off or changing from condition "ON" to condition "Standby"
