5.9 Test function

The detection range of the sensor can be checked using the test function.
1.
Press push-button [test] (SP) to switch on the test function.

Press push-button [PROG] (SP) to exit programming mode

and start the test.

Enter the detection area:
- with detection 100% ON,
- without detection after 1 sec. back to 1% ON.

If necessary, adjust the detection range by setting the screens
on the sensor and repeat steps 3 and 4 as often as necessary.

After completing the test, either wait 60 seconds or press the
push-button [ON/OFF] or [CH-1/CH-2] (SP) to switch off the
test function (return to normal function).

5.10 Setting offset

Setting the OFFSET (=distance from CH-2 to CH-1) of a specifi c function mode.

Press push-button [Offset] (SP).

- LP = Coarse setting

Offset adjustment is only possible outside of programming mode.

5.11 100 h Burn-in

When using fl uorescent lamps, stable operation and maximum lifespan are only assured after a
burn-in phase (100 h at 100%). The automatic functions are switched off during burn-in, all lamps
in the system illuminate at 100%.
LEDs on all connected sensors light up red continuously.
